4-Acetamidonicotinic acid is a molecule that has been shown to be present in the nuclear and yields resonance spectra, amines, and cyclised resonance spectra. The spectral data was obtained from the magnetic resonance spectra of 4-acetamidonicotinic acid. Resonance occurs when atoms or molecules are set up in such a way that they are able to oscillate with one another. This can happen when two atoms have electrons in common. Magnetic resonance is an example of this type of resonance. It is used to study the chemical structures of molecules by detecting the response of their nuclei to a magnetic field.
