Informazioni sul prodotto
Ethyl 7-nitrobenzofuran-2-carboxylate is an irreversible and selective ligand for the imidazoline receptor that binds to high affinity binding sites. It has been shown to be a useful probe for studying the function of the imidazoline receptor as well as other ligands, such as acetone and toluene. Ethyl 7-nitrobenzofuran-2-carboxylate inhibits rat brain synaptosomal uptake of ethylenediamine in a dose-dependent manner. This type of inhibition is reversible, which means that it can be reversed by adding excess amount of the substrate.
