Informazioni sul prodotto
Pi(3,5)P2 is a lipid second messenger that has been shown to regulate ion channels and G-protein coupled receptors. Pi(3,5)P2 is generated by the action of PLC on phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2). The binding of Pi(3,5)P2 to receptor tyrosine kinases can activate protein kinase C and lead to the activation of ion channels. Pi(3,5)P2 has also been shown to be involved in peptide hormone signaling.
Pi(3,5)p has been shown to activate several types of ion channel including voltage-gated K+, Ca2+, and Na+ channels. It also increases production of cyclic AMP (cAMP), which leads to increased protein synthesis and cell growth. In addition, it inhibits the activity of the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 3 (PDE3), which catalyzes
