Informazioni sul prodotto
2-Iodo-3-nitrobenzonitrile is a cytotoxic agent that inhibits the activity of protein kinases. It has been used as a diagnostic tool for cancer, as it can be detected in the urine and blood of patients with tumours. 2-Iodo-3-nitrobenzonitrile inhibits cellular transformation by blocking activation of proinflammatory cytokines and the production of procoagulant factors, such as MMP-13. This drug has also been shown to induce apoptosis in cells from bronchial and dysgerminoma tumours. 2-Iodo-3-nitrobenzonitrile binds to the kinase domain, which blocks the phosphorylation process required for cell division.
