Informazioni sul prodotto
- 1H-benzotriazol-1-ylacetonitrile
- 2-(1H-Benzo[d][1,2,3]triazol-1-yl)acetonitrile
1H-Benzotriazole-1-acetonitrile is a β-unsaturated ketone that is used in the synthesis of cytotoxic compounds. It is also a precursor to antimicrobial agents, such as benzotriazole and triazole derivatives, which are active against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. 1H-Benzotriazole-1-acetonitrile induces DNA fragmentation by binding to the N7 position of guanine in the DNA double helix. This process results in the formation of acridine and pyridine nucleotides, which inhibit DNA and RNA synthesis. The cytotoxicity of 1H-benzotriazole-1-acetonitrile has been studied using human cell lines.
