Descrizione:
4,5-Bis(2-methoxyethoxy)-2-nitrobenzonitrile (BOMBE) is a quinazolinone derivative that has been synthesized and tested as an inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). BOMBE's mechanism of action prevents the binding of the ligand to the EGFR, thereby preventing activation of downstream signaling pathways. This drug has been shown to be effective in vitro against lung cancer cells.
