2-Acetamido-2,4-dideoxy-4-fluoro-a-D-glucopyranose is a synthetic, fluorinated carbohydrate. It is a monosaccharide that is made by the substitution of an acetamido group with a fluoro group at C2 and C4 of the glucose molecule.
