Informazioni sul prodotto
2-Amino-2-deoxy-D-arabinose (2ADOA) is a chiral molecule that can be used as a chiral building block in the synthesis of amino sugars. This compound has been shown to be an efficient method for the synthesis of glyceraldehyde, which is a key intermediate in the production of glycosides. 2ADOA has also been used as a nucleophilic reagent in reactions with mercury(II) chloride and mercuric chloride, where it reacts with electrophiles to form imines. 2ADOA is enantiomerically pure and exhibits a high degree of stereoselectivity. It can react with chloride ions to form an isomeric mixture of 3-chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzenesulfonic acid.
