Clenbuterol related compound B is a synthetic molecule that belongs to the class of pharmacological agents. It has been shown to act as a beta-2-adrenergic receptor agonist, which leads to physiological effects such as increased heart rate and blood pressure. Clenbuterol related compound B also has an effect on energy metabolism, stimulating the production of ATP by mitochondria in a process called matrix effect. This drug also induces synchronous fluorescence of basic fibroblasts by binding to nitrite ions and may be used as a fluorescent probe for sodium citrate.
