Informazioni sul prodotto
4-(1H-Benzimidazol-2-yl)benzaldehyde is a nucleophilic compound that reacts with anions to form stable covalent bonds. It is used in chemical biology and as a fluorescent probe for the detection of reactive anions, such as nitroarenes and hemicyanines. 4-(1H-Benzimidazol-2-yl)benzaldehyde can also be used to modify the properties of cytoprotectants and nucleophiles. This compound has been shown to be cytotoxic in cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit cellular activity by reacting with DNA or other important cellular components. 4-(1H-Benzimidazol-2-yl)benzaldehyde has also been used to develop chemosensors for the early detection of cancerous cells.
