Informazioni sul prodotto
Stilbostemin B is a compound that has been isolated from the tuberosa plant. Stilbostemin B has been found to inhibit bacterial growth, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus epidermidis. In vivo tests showed that this compound has neuroprotective effects and is not neurotoxic. The antibacterial activity of stilbostemin B may be due to its inhibition of bacterial biosynthesis and inhibition of the synthesis of pinosylvin, which is an antimicrobial agent that inhibits bacterial growth.
