Descrizione:
7-Octen-1-ol is a volatile compound that is found in the essential oils of various plants, such as psidium guajava and rhodinol. It is also used as a modifier for perfluorinated compounds. 7-Octen-1-ol has been shown to possess anti-inflammatory properties and has been reported to be a natural activator of the peroxisome proliferator activated receptor gamma (PPARγ). The human serum albumin conjugate of 7-octen-1-ol has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells.
