Informazioni sul prodotto
- 2-Bromooct-1-Ene
2-Bromo-1-octene is a hydroxy group that can be converted to 2-bromostyrene with nucleophilic attack. The reaction is catalyzed by palladium and trifluoroacetic acid. This molecule can also be obtained by cross-coupling of 1,2-dibromoethane and trimethylaluminum with the use of a high concentration of salt and alkene as a solvent. The geometric isomers are formed in this reaction, which can then be separated using column chromatography or crystallization. Amine functionalities may be introduced into the molecule using reductive amination of anilines or nitrobenzene.
