Informazioni sul prodotto
This compound is a novel antibacterial agent that has been shown to be effective against Gram-positive bacteria. This compound contains a chromophore, which is an important factor in the antibacterial activity. The molecule is synthesized by reacting styrene with acetonitrile and quinoline derivatives, which are used as starting materials. The ring opening of this molecule generates two products, one of which is the desired product. In order to determine the structure of the desired product, NMR spectroscopy was used to elucidate the reaction mechanism. X-ray crystallography was used to confirm the molecular structure of the desired product.
