7-Methoxy-1-naphthaleneacetamide is a chemical compound with the molecular formula CHNO. It is an inhibitor of the enzyme nitroreductase, which is involved in the synthesis of a number of biologically important compounds, including nitric oxide. 7-Methoxy-1-naphthaleneacetamide inhibits nitroaldol and formylation reactions by binding to the active site of the enzyme.
