Informazioni sul prodotto
7-Methoxy-1-naphthaleneacetamide is a chemical compound with the molecular formula CHNO. It is an inhibitor of the enzyme nitroreductase, which is involved in the synthesis of a number of biologically important compounds, including nitric oxide. 7-Methoxy-1-naphthaleneacetamide inhibits nitroaldol and formylation reactions by binding to the active site of the enzyme. This inhibition may be due to steric hindrance or disruption of hydrogen bonds between key amino acid residues in the active site. The pharmacological activity of 7-methoxy-1-naphthaleneacetamide has been studied using 2,2′-(Nitrobenzene)bis(diethylamine), which is used as a substrate for nitroreductase. 7-Methoxy-1-naphthaleneacetamide was found to be an effective inhibitor, with IC50 values ranging from 0.5
