2-((((9H-fluoren-9-yl)methoxy)carbonyl)amino)-3-(3-hydroxyphenyl)propanoic acid is a hydrophilic, water soluble and stable peptide. It can be synthesized in high yield by the Fmoc/Boc solid phase synthesis method. The efficiency of this synthetic process is improved by sequentially coupling the amino acid residues on the resin as opposed to coupling all of them at once.
