Descrizione:
3-Heptanol, 4-methyl is a mixture of isomers that can be used as a solvent. It consists of three stereoisomers: 3-heptanol, 2-methyl (2M), 3-methyl (3M) and 4-methyl (4M). The different isomers have different physical properties, such as boiling points. They also have different biological activities. For example, 3M has been shown to inhibit the growth of human pathogens, while 4M has been shown to inhibit the growth of plants.
