DAABD-Cl is a fluorescent derivative of the compound 4-[2-(dimethylamino)ethylaminosulfonyl]-7-chloro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole. DAABD-Cl reacts with proteins in a manner that is specific to the protein sequence it binds to.
