Descrizione:
1-(2-Chlorophenyl)isoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid is an enantiomer of 1-(2-chlorophenyl)isoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid and has been synthesized for the first time. The compound was analysed by chiral HPLC and found to have a purity of greater than 99% and to be the desired enantiomer. The synthesis of 1-(2-chlorophenyl)isoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid is a challenging task, as it involves the use of chloroformate as a coupling agent. This type of reaction is irreversible, so this synthesis had to be substantiated by synthesizing 1-(2-chlorophenyl)isoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid in a different way.
