Antimicrobial peptide consisting of disulfide bonds between Cys2-Cys30, Cys4-Cys19, and Cys9-Cys29. Alpha-defensin-4 is a small, cationic peptide that is part of the alpha-defensin family of antimicrobial peptides in humans.
