Informazioni sul prodotto
Bohemine is a purine derivative that has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of fatty acids in the liver, which may be due to its ability to block the enzymes involved in the reaction mechanism. Bohemine has also been shown to be effective against cancer cells, and this effect is believed to be due to its ability to inhibit protein synthesis. Bohemine can act as a chemical diversity agent by binding to cell membranes and interacting with drug transporters. This interaction prevents the binding of drugs that are substrates for these transporters, thereby altering their pharmacokinetic properties. Bohemine has shown some efficacy as a monoclonal antibody-targeted cancer treatment, but it does not have a high affinity for human liver proteins.
