Informazioni sul prodotto
5-Iodo-2-methylpyrimidin-4-amine is a molecule that interacts with the ATP binding site of enzymes. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on kinases and 5-Iodo-2-methylpyrimidin-4-amine is selective for the inhibition of tyrosine kinases (e.g., Btk) over serine/threonine kinases (e.g., csk). The compound also binds to the dehydrogenase enzyme, which is involved in the synthesis of hydrogen peroxide, and has been shown to interact with a water molecule. 5-Iodo-2-methylpyrimidin-4-amine has been used as a lead compound to discover other molecules that may be more effective in inhibiting cancer cell growth.
