Fenamiphos-sulfoxide d3 (S-methyl d3) is a synthetic chemical that has been synthesized from the natural pesticide Fenamiphos. It is an antiparasitic and antibiotic agent, which can be used to treat infections caused by bacteria, fungi, or parasites. Fenamiphos-sulfoxide d3 (S-methyl d3) binds to the enzyme DNA gyrase and inhibits growth of microorganisms by inhibiting rRNA synthesis. This agent also inhibits viral replication by binding to RNA polymerase, blocking transcription and translation of viral genome into virus proteins.
Fenamiphos-sulfoxide d3 (S-methyl d3) has shown high purity with low levels of impurities such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and heavy metals.
