Informazioni sul prodotto
- Benzoic Acid, 4-Amino-2,6-Dimethyl-
4-Amino-2,6-dimethylbenzoic acid is a nitrating agent that is used in the synthesis of dyes, pharmaceuticals, and other organic compounds. It reacts with nitric acid to form 4-nitroso-2,6-dimethylbenzoic acid. This compound can be used as a remedy for lesions, which are caused by ischemic or cerebral processes. Nitration of benzene yields nitrobenzene and this process can be carried out using sulfuric acid in the presence of potassium dichromate and manganese dioxide. The reaction generates heat and light so it must be carried out carefully in a well ventilated area.
