(E)-3-(2-(1H-Tetrazol-5-yl)vinyl)-6-fluoro-1H-indole is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme IDO1. IDO1 is an enzyme that is involved in the breakdown of the amino acid tryptophan, which is necessary for immune system function. The inhibitory activity of (E)-3-(2-(1H-Tetrazol-5-yl)vinyl)-6-fluoro-1H-indole has been shown to be beneficial in a number of diseases such as cancer and autoimmune diseases.
