Cedazuridine (also known as NUC-1031) is a small molecule that is being studied as a potential treatment for various diseases. It is a uridine analogue and it has anti-inflammatory properties. According to certain studies, cedazuridine has been shown to reduce the severity of symptoms in preclinical models of conditions such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. It has also been shown to have antiviral activity against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in vitro.
