Informazioni sul prodotto
3-Amino-6-methylpyrazine-2-carbonitrile is a hydration agent that belongs to the class of bisulphides. It is used as a reagent for the conversion of ethyl chloroformate, ethyl orthoformate, and dimethylformamide to chloride. 3-Amino-6-methylpyrazine-2-carbonitrile has been shown to undergo cyclization with ethyl chloroformate and formaldehyde under acidic conditions. The cyclization reaction leads to the formation of pteridines and formaldehyde. 3-Amino-6-methylpyrazine-2-carbonitrile also reacts with hydrogen chloride in a two step process, leading to hydrogenated products. Hydrogenation yields 3-(aminomethyl)pyridine and 3-(dimethylaminomethyl)pyridine. This product can be oxidized by chlorine or ozone into the corresponding
