Informazioni sul prodotto
3,5-Diethynylpyridine is a ligand that has been postulated to coordinate metal ions via hydrogen bonds. X-ray crystallographic studies have shown that 3,5-diethynylpyridine complexes with anions such as nitrate and acceptor, trimethylphosphate, and silver ions. 3,5-Diethynylpyridine has been shown to form autonomously macrocyclic compounds in the presence of palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions. It is believed that the coordination of metal ions by 3,5-diethynylpyridine may be due to its ability to act as an electron donor or acceptor.
