Descrizione

Bz-Gly-His-Leu is a peptide that has the amino acid sequence of Hippuryl-Histidyl-Leucine. The peptide binds to Angiotensin I Converting Enzyme I Substrates and prevents the enzyme from converting Angiotensin I to Angiotensin II, thereby lowering blood pressure. Bz-Gly-His-Leu has been shown to be effective in reducing blood pressure in patients with congestive heart failure as well as those with normal cardiac function.
