Myoseverin is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of amides. It has been shown to inhibit the de-differentiation of intestinal cells in a model system, which may be useful for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. Myoseverin inhibits the activity of cyclases and can be used for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia. Myoseverin also has diagnostic and therapeutic potential in autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis.
