Informazioni sul prodotto
- 3,3'-Bis(N-carbazolyl)-1,1'-biphenyl
- 9,9'-Biphenyl-3,3'-diylbis-9H-carbazole
- 3,3-Di(9H-carbazol-9-yl)biphenyl
3,3'-Di(9H-carbazol-9-yl)-1,1'-biphenyl is a molecule that has been shown to inhibit the reaction of the enzyme phosphodiesterase with its substrate. The inhibition of this enzyme results in an increase in cyclic GMP levels and an increase in blood pressure. 3,3'-Di(9H-carbazol-9-yl)-1,1'-biphenyl binds to calcium ions. This binding has been shown to be reversible and is influenced by the concentration of calcium ions as well as the pH of the solution. Transport properties are dependent on the number of phenyl rings and their position on the biphenyl backbone.
