Informazioni sul prodotto
- 2,3-Diphenylpiperazine monohydrate, 95%
2,3-Diphenylpiperazine is an aromatic heterocyclic compound with the chemical formula C₃H₁₀N₄. It is a colorless liquid with a boiling point of approximately 150°C and a density of 1.07 g/mL at 20°C. 2,3-Diphenylpiperazine is obtained by the reaction of ethylene glycol dimethyl ether (1) with sulfur (2) in the presence of copper salts as catalyst. The yield depends on the temperature and pressure used during the reaction.
The structure of 2,3-Diphenylpiperazine can be determined by regression analysis:
2,3-Diphenylpiperazine has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties in rats, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
