BI-671800 is a nitro compound that has been shown to be an effective therapy for asthma by reducing the production of inflammatory molecules. BI-671800 has been shown to be safe and have a good safety profile. The drug has also demonstrated statistically significant effects on autoimmune diseases in animal models. BI-671800 is not active against tautomers, but it does bind to glutaminyl residues on proteins with high affinity.
