Descrizione:
4-(3,4-Dimethoxyphenyl)-3-Buten-1-Ol is a tyrosinase inhibitor that is used in the research of tyrosinase localization and methods for its detection. This compound is an organic solvent with a boiling point of 176°C. It has been shown to have nuclear localization in mammalian cells and can be used to identify transcription factors, such as microphthalmia-associated transcription factor. 4-(3,4-Dimethoxyphenyl)-3-Buten-1-Ol has also been found to inhibit tyrosinase expression and melanogenesis. It is soluble in deionized water and elutes from silica gel with factor 1.
