Pardoprunox hydrochloride is a drug that belongs to the class of 5-HT1A receptor agonists. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, such as multiple sclerosis. Pardoprunox hydrochloride also has a variety of other effects on the central nervous system, including locomotor activity and dopamine levels. It is metabolized by CYP3A4, which may lead to metabolic disorders. Clinical studies have shown pardoprunox hydrochloride to be effective in treating Parkinson's disease and cancer.
