Informazioni sul prodotto
4-Chloro-2-fluoro-N-methylaniline is a bioactive chemical compound that has been shown to have neuroprotective properties. It has been found to inhibit the sirtuin SIRT2 enzyme, which leads to an increase in acetylation of lysine residues on α-tubulin. This change in acetylation increases the likelihood of polymerization and aggregation of α-tubulin proteins, leading to neuronal cell death. 4-Chloro-2-fluoro-N-methylaniline also inhibits deacetylase activity and may be used as a pharmacological target for the prevention or treatment of diseases associated with the accumulation of polyglutamine repeats.
