Informazioni sul prodotto
4-Bromo-2-chloro-5-methylphenol (4BCMP) is a chlorinated phenolic compound that is used in the synthesis of other chemicals. It can be synthesized by the reaction of bromine with 2,4,5-trichlorophenol in the presence of an acidic catalyst. 4BCMP undergoes cross coupling reactions with aryl halides to provide efficient access to chlorinated aromatic compounds. The Wittig reaction and Suzuki cross coupling are two examples of such reactions. 4BCPPM is also used as a precursor for other chemicals, such as herbicides, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals.
