Informazioni sul prodotto
4-[(Ethylamino)methyl]phenol is a multifunctional compound that has been shown to have cytotoxic activity, scavenging ability and the ability to bind to amyloid-β. This drug has also been found to be a lead compound for Alzheimer's disease, where it inhibits the production of amyloid-β peptides and slows the progression of Alzheimer's disease in animal studies. 4-[(Ethylamino)methyl]phenol was shown to inhibit scopolamine-induced amnesia in mice by binding to acetylcholine receptors on the postsynaptic membrane of the hippocampus, leading to a decrease in acetylcholine release.
