Informazioni sul prodotto
4-Amino-5-chloro-2-methoxy-N-(piperidin-4-ylmethyl)benzamide is a phenylsulfonyl compound that has been shown to have low bioavailability. It is a prodrug of the active drug 4-(3-(piperidin-4-ylmethyl)phenyl)-2,6,8,10,-tetrahydro-9H-[1]benzazepin. When taken orally, this drug has a slow absorption rate and it passes through the intestinal tract largely unchanged. This drug is metabolized by CYP450 enzymes in the liver and gut wall into metabolites that are excreted in the bile and urine. The pharmacological profile of this drug includes serotonin receptor binding activity with an affinity for 5HT3 receptors. Pharmacologically, this compound has been shown to affect gastrointestinal motility and inhibit carbonylamino acid decarboxylase.
