Informazioni sul prodotto
N-Phenyl-4-(3-phenylthioureido)benzenesulfonamide is a histidine biosynthesis inhibitor that is used to treat colitis. It has been shown to inhibit the expression of genes involved in the pathogenesis of infectious diarrhea, such as enteric fever and colitis. N-Phenyl-4-(3-phenylthioureido)benzenesulfonamide inhibits bacterial growth by binding to the periplasmic space, which is the area between the cytoplasmic membrane and outer membrane of bacteria. This binding prevents the synthesis of proteins, leading to cell death.
