Descrizione:
(R)-2-Benzylsuccinic acid is a pharmacological agent that belongs to the group of ester hydrochloride. It has been shown to have anthelmintic activity in mice, and can be used as a treatment for parasites such as roundworm and tapeworm. This drug also has an effect on locomotor activity in mice at doses of 50 mg/kg. The mechanism behind this effect is thought to be due to its ability to bind with the α1 subunit of GABAA receptors, which may lead to sedation.
