Informazioni sul prodotto
N-Succinimidyl decanoate (NSD) is a carboxylic acid that can be used in organic synthesis. It is often used as a linker to attach other molecules to surfaces, such as silicon or glass. NSD reacts with amino groups in proteins and other amines and forms a urea linkage with terminal amino groups. This reaction preferentially takes place at the chain ends of the molecule, which are colored. The reaction mechanism for this reaction is not well known, but it may involve the formation of an imine intermediate.
