Perfluorophenyl 3-(2-(2-(3-(2,5-dioxo-2H-pyrrol-1(5H)-yl)propanamido)ethoxy)ethoxy)propanoate is a research tool used to activate receptors and ion channels in cells. It has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of many different types of ion channels, including sodium channels, potassium channels, and calcium channels. This ligand also binds to antibodies that are specific for many different types of proteins. The binding of this ligand to the antibody can inhibit protein interactions with other proteins as well as the synthesis of new proteins.
