Informazioni sul prodotto
Pyridostatin trifluoroacetate salt is a DNA replication inhibitor. It is an actin-based protein that is expressed in the pancreas and binds to dsDNA. Pyridostatin trifluoroacetate salt hybridizes with abiotic, or non-biological, DNA and causes it to denature. This inhibits DNA replication. This drug has been shown to inhibit the growth of human pancreatic cancer cells by blocking DNA replication. The drug can be used as an optical sensor for the detection of specific sequences in plant cells, as well as a fluorescent marker for plant tissue hybridization.
