N-(4-Chloro-3-nitrophenyl)-N′-(4-fluorophenyl)urea is a potent and selective activator of the potassium ion channel Kv1.2. It has been shown to inhibit the binding of peptides to their receptor, as well as block voltage-gated potassium channels in cell membranes. This compound has a high purity, with an average of 98% by HPLC analysis and a CAS number of 897326-30-6. N-(4-Chloro-3-nitrophenyl)-N′-(4-fluorophenyl)urea is used in research as a tool for studying the pharmacology, protein interactions, and receptor structure of ion channels.
