8-Ethyl irinotecan is an inhibitor of peptide-activated protein kinase (PAPK) that belongs to the class of ligands. It has been shown to activate PAPK by binding to the receptor and activating it in a phosphorylation-dependent manner. 8-Ethyl irinotecan may be used as a research tool for understanding the function of PAPK in cancer, cardiovascular disease, and other diseases.
