Descrizione

Piscidic acid is a natural compound that is found in the genus Piscidia. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor properties, as well as being an immunosuppressant. Piscidic acid is also known to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro. In addition, it has been shown to inhibit the production of malonic acid from citric acid in vitro and can be used as an intermediate for pharmaceutical drugs. The structure of piscidic acid contains a hydroxyl group and a methyl group on the same carbon atom, which is uncommon in nature.
