Informazioni sul prodotto
4-Chloromethylphenylboronic acid pinacol ester is an imidazopyridine drug candidate in the optimization of Alzheimer's disease therapeutics. It has been shown to be a potent and selective modulator of cytochrome p450 enzymes, including CYP2B6 and CYP3A4. The compound also inhibits the activity of microsomal cytochrome P450 enzymes, such as CYP1A1, CYP1B1, and CYP2E1. 4-Chloromethylphenylboronic acid pinacol ester has shown oral activity in mice and was able to cross the blood-brain barrier. The compound may have therapeutic potential for treating Alzheimer's disease by reducing amyloid beta production or by inhibiting acetylcholine esterase and choline acetyltransferase, which are involved in memory formation.
