Informazioni sul prodotto
Copper(II) tert-butylacetoacetate (Cu(tba)(acac)) is a copper complex that has been synthesized using the acetylacetonate ligand. It has been shown to be an effective gas sensor with good operational parameters, such as high sensitivity and selectivity, low operating temperature, and high response time. Cu(tba)(acac) can be used for detection of ammonia, methane, nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide. It is also sensitive to radiation from ultraviolet light to infrared radiation. This synthetic method is not limited to just these compounds; the morphology of this complex molecule can be modified in order to include other functional groups that are sensitive to different gases. The experimental conditions are easy to control because Cu(tba)(acac) does not require a catalyst or a solvent in order to react with gases.
