(S)-Crizotinib is a solid polymer that acts as an isoenzyme inhibitor. It is used as a phosphoric photopolymerization initiator and can also be found in solution compositions containing chromium compounds or chromic acid. This compound has been studied for its potential medicinal properties, including its ability to inhibit the growth of pyrrolizidine alkaloids and act as a medicament for denaturation of glutamate. (S)-Crizotinib is commonly used in research chemicals and has shown promising results when combined with aluminum and butanol. Additionally, it has been found to have monoclonal antibody activity.
